Light Blue Oracal 651 is a popular high performance calandered industry standard vinyl choice for intermediate term use. It features a polyacrylate permanent solvent based adhesive, When both are combined together, these make a respected performance grade vinyl suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
The Oracal 651 becomes water-resistant if items are left 24-48 hours for adhesive to fully cure after application. It is suggested that items should be hand-washed only.
The special PVC film has a thickness of 70 +/- microns making it easy to Cut/Weed and handle while conveying a greater scratch and abrasion resistance. This give the Oracal 651 range the versatility to be used with virtually all electronic cutting / plotting machines including: Cricut, Silhouette, Brother Scan N Cut etc.
The durability of the Oracal 651 range of colours is mainly dependant on location and atmosphere conditions. It has an indoor durability of nearly unlimited if left alone and not cleaned or touched and kept at a constant neutral temperature. When using in an outdoor setting its durability varies from 1 to 5 years due to weather conditions and placement. The average outdoor durability is 5 years for black and white, 4 years for transparent/coloured/metallic, and 3 year for brilliant blue.
The release liner is a silicone coated paper that provides excellent weeding conditions and aids the removal of the vinyl from the liner.
