Black Oracal 631 soft matt sign vinyl is ideal for short and medium-term applications rated up to 3 years indoors.

The thickness of Oracal 631 is a 80 +/- micron calendered vinyl, which although sounding thin is 20% thicker than the Oracal 651 but still as strong and maluable, making it easy to Cut/Weed and handle while conveying a greater scratch and abrasion resistance. This give the Oracal 651 range the versatility to be used with virtually all electronic cutting / plotting machines including: Cricut, Silhouette, Brother Scan N Cut etc.

Oracal 631 uses a clear, water-based, polyacrylate, removable adhesive. This makes it perfect for wall decals or temporary signage because you can remove it without damaging your paint or leaving behind very little residue for up to 2 years after installation.

Because of using a water-base adhesive Oracal 631 is water resistant, but not fully waterproof making it not suitable for projects that required to be cleaned on a frequent basis, such as dishware or anything exposed to a lot of water. To clean the Oracal 631 it is advised to just wipe it with a damp cloth.

The release liner is a silicone coated paper that provides excellent weeding conditions and aids the removal of the vinyl from the liner.

This vinyl can be applied to just about any flat, smooth surface that is clean and free of dust and grease. Use it to create fabulous designs to decorate your phones, laptops, cupboards, walls, acrylic, glass, mirrors, markings, letterings, decorations of exhibition stands and materials, creating wall art displays... anything that isn't exposed to water!

Note: Freshly lacquered or painted surfaces should be allowed to dry for at least three weeks and to completely cure before applying the material. The compatibility of selected lacquers and paints should be tested by the user, prior to application of the material.
